Happy Mardi-Gras Week-End Including both Monday and Fat Tuesday!

Shoot I was fortunate enough to park on Morphy Avenue last night (Friday Night) and walk down to Section Street head North towards Fairhope, Ave. and run into a friend of mine with the City of Fairhope  then I continued North on Fairhope Avenue and  by luck and Happenstance I ran into my oldest Son Lee his Wife and Children and was introduced to a Friend of his and his Family.

The Maids of Jubilee put on a magnificent Parade- one I haven't seen in quite a few years so it was a nice but cool Evening in Down-Town Fairhope, Alabama last Night!

This Weekend is all about Mardi-Gras and having a damn good time on land but the Boat Show in Mobile is coming up very soon along with the warm Weather so Everyone please have a Safe and Enjoyable Mardi-Gras Week-end and with the Warm Weather Hopefully a few more us avid boater's will find our way out onto the Water in greater numbers as the Weather warms up!

Heck I even worked on my own boat for a few minutes yesterday afternoon.

Maybe I will be Lucky enough to have it back in the Water by my Birthday in April!

I will get that Battleship Marine Red and White 4 x 8 Sign Re-Lettered somehow if Kim with the City of Fairhope let's me have a dang Permit!

I built Kims house so I don't know if she will let me have the damn thing or not! I hope so!

If you have never seen Kims house I have to say this- the Metal Roof and Mortar Joints left to look as if they were not grooved even wiped for a lack of a better term is one of the prettier homes that I had the opportunity to work with my team on in late 2004. Please forgive me for not remembering the exact grout groove style it has been close to 12 years. 

Kim's house was under construction when old Hurricane Ivan hit in 2004. Hopefully we will continue with fingers and toes crossed that we never have another two-year stretch like we did during the Hurricane Seasons of 2004 and 2005 into another Fall of 2016!

Trust me as a former builder that had 10 homes under construction in three different counties in 2004 we need another pretty August and September like we had last year so we can all complain of Sunburn late into the year!

I sure would like to help the "do-it-yourselfers", NEW Boat Owners and of course my friend's locally that work on Boats if I can in any way so please stop by or give me a call!
