Ships Log 100514-A: Alabama Lost to them Rebs Yesterday but it was a Perfect Day to Take Boo out on the Boat!

 

Friend's and Customer's,

 

It was a miserable Sunday Morning to wake up an Alabama Fan but an Alabama Fan I have always been and an Alabama Fan I will always be that is Certain!

 

You gotta hand it to them Rebs from over there in Mississippi they were ready for the Tide Yesterday but Roll Freakin Tide anyway!!!!

 

I knew Today the winds would have laid and I promised Boo Boo I would take her back out the boat last summer when she was so ill!

 

I thought she would have a blast out there on the boat like she used to but she will soon be 12 or 13 and I guess things change cause she got her "nerves in an uproar" pretty quick and even when we anchored to fish just off the West side of the Mobile Bay Ship Channel well she didn't calm down then either.

 

She was just breathing to hard but there were some nice fish on my "New" "Used" Hummingbird Depth and Fish Finder but like the Tide chart shows for Today it wasn't moving much at all my friend's!

 

I thought to myself "I'm pulling Anchor and Taking my baby dog home!"

 

It was absolutely gorgeous out there Today!

 

One Picture was an attempt to capture on camera a mama dolphin with her baby alongside and I would assume daddy leading the way!

 

I'm gonna go get a sheet of pegboard and get it up next week and hope the Tide gets ready for Arkansas not to mention that I may feel a little ashamed to say this but "Boo Boo thank you for the memory of going out on the boat with me Today!

 

Maybe the time you jumped up on the gunnell of the Bay liner as a puppy going out of Perdido Pass you were trying to tell me and my ex-wife that "I hate Boats!"

 

She did do this though yall yesterday- "She barked her head off when I was screaming Roll Tide!"

 

Oh my God! Is she an Auburn Fan?

 

Hell no She Ain't!

 

She could be though and I would still love my Yorkshire Terrier!

 

There were some nice clusters of fish on that "Fish Finder" about 8' down and some big one's in the Channel 14 to 25 feet down!

 

I guess my next trip out will be alone but I'm going again out into that Bay I love so much! I hope you are planning a fishing trip as soon as you wanna go to!

 

I have to get this addition finished as well for the 2015 Season and I will my Customer's and Friend's but when the Crimson Tide isn't playing "I sure wanna do some fishing myself!"

 

I hope we all get too!

Not bad for an ADHD person that wishes they were on some Adderall XR or Vyvanse so they could accomplish three goals in Life in the second half of life or less!
