Damn I miss my mother. She's in Heaven and as my dad has always has said "This place is Hell Cliff!"

"I don't know what I am going to do when football season starts and I can't call my Parent's and hear my mother holler and scream "Roll Tide!"

When I was very young- we used to go pull the Shrimp net on Sunday.

My mother was a Creole cook. 

I'm not talking about this red stuff you get around here now at some of these Restaurant's.

I mean a real Creole cook!

Even the Shrimp Creole was almost brown more like burnt Orange.

Gumbo was brown and thick with whole Bay Leaves!

No fake Rice in her Kitchen allowed!

Friend's we had too be back to the house to see the BEAR!

When they quit going to the games- I always called them from a game or from home or where-ever and part of the call was simply to hear my mother holler "Roll Tide!"

That is the truth my friend's.
